Meet the Artist

Carlos “Wolfie” Sanchez has been putting ink on skin for over 20 years. He grew up in Chicago’s Hamlin Park neighborhood — Wolcott was the street that ran past the park, and the name Hamlin Wolcott stuck. It’s more than a shop name — it’s where his edge comes from.

He’s not trying to be flashy — just solid. His style shifts with the client: fine line, bold black, a little color when it makes sense. From clean roses and hearts to skulls, lettering, and custom designs, Wolfie tattoos like it matters. Because it does.

He takes pride in his work, keeps it clean, and doesn’t cut corners. No ego, no shortcuts. Just real tattoos done right.

And if you’re looking to get pierced — nose, ears, whatever — he handles that too. Steady hands, sterile tools, and no weird energy. In and out, no drama.

He was even featured in [INSERT TATTOO MAG NAME HERE] at one point — but around here, that’s not what gets respect. It’s the work. And Wolfie’s got plenty of it.
